Gov. Larry Hogan, who co-chairs the No Labels movement, released a joint statement along with former Senator Joe Lieberman and Board Member Admiral Dennis Blair on Tuesday, Mar. 15.

“For weeks, President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine have shown remarkable determination and courage in the face of Putin’s unprovoked war of choice. But wars cannot be won on heroics alone,” the statement read.

“We join the Problem Solvers Caucus in urging President Biden and Congress to provide or facilitate delivery of vital additional military aid to Ukraine, including but not limited to S-300 surface-to-air missile system, MiG-29 jets, and Su-25 aircraft.”

Governor Hogan has repeatedly shown his support for Ukraine throughout the conflict. He released a statement following the Russian invasion on February 24 calling the attack “a barbarous military assault from a deranged autocrat.”

The Governor has also attended various demonstrations to show his support for Ukraine, including one at St. Michael's Ukrainian Church where several headstones were defaced.
